Services or products you offer: Hair coloring and haircuts for any and all textures using high-end Italian brands like Davines, along with updos and blowouts for special events like quinceañeras and weddings.
What you enjoy most about your profession: Making connections with clients. My goal is to create long-lasting relationships with them, so as their hair changes over time, I can recommend the best coloring techniques and routines.
Customer service is: Taking the time to understand what every guest needs and wants before starting their service. We practice the art of listening as we connect with clients, ensuring the selected hair coloring technique is the right one.
You started your business, because: I wanted to create an environment that welcomed all types of hair textures in a space where hairdressers receive ongoing education to perfect their skills.
First job: A Hallmark store in Costa Rica.
Favorite food: My family’s empanadas.
Favorite local restaurant: Casa Los Abuelos in Placerville.
Last big purchase: Custom-made salon cabinets and shampoo bowls.
Favorite small business: Cia de Gelateria. I had the honor of meeting the owners and learning about their gelato process; the love they put into it is inspiring.
You love living here, because: Of the community—and the beautiful sunsets. As a mom of three kids, I love that they feel safe playing at parks and riding their bikes around our neighborhood. Raising a family takes a village—or a great community!
