New and Coming Soon In September 2022

A high-end sushi restaurant is set to open soon at 1902 Taylor Road in Roseville. In addition to uni, oysters, specialty rolls, nigiri, and sashimi, Maneki by Bay Boys Brewing will also feature live music in the 6,200-square-foot space. Fast-casual eatery The Melt (themelt.com)—known for their classic American comfort food with a twist (think Angus-wagyu MeltBurgers, toasted grilled cheese sandwiches, crispy fries, and creamy mac & cheese)—is coming to the Palladio at Broadstone. The new outpost, sited at 303 Palladio Parkway, Suite 2025, in Folsom, will be the region’s first stand-alone location.

Parkway Veterinary Hospital (myparkwayvethospital.com)—a practice dedicated to providing pets with personalized, gentle care—opened at 25035 Blue Ravine Road, Suite 110, in Folsom.

Folsom has a new boutique-style salon at 151 Iron Point Road. The Colour Chemistry Salon & Spa (thecolourchemistry.com) offers personalized cuts and colors, complimentary color consultations, blow-out bar services, virtual hair assessments, and special occasion hair and makeup. What’s more, they use high-quality products like Davines and offer amenities like coffee, local wine, and Wi-Fi.

A family-friendly, casual sports bar and grill, The Iron Bulldog
opened at 303 Iron Point Road in Folsom. Inspired by the Folsom community, their menu features cheeseburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, Philly cheesesteaks, salads, and more, along with a full bar, live music, arcade games, and karaoke. In addition, they have a Folsom High School "wall of fame" featuring the school’s four state championship banners, memorabilia, and signed jerseys from the four graduates who currently play in the NFL. Shop for high-end beer, wine, and spirits at the newly opened Folsom Bottle Shop (folsombottleshop.com). Located at 7700 Folsom-Auburn Road, they also offer online ordering and delivery, and pride themselves on having superior customer service.

Smithville & Co.—a former smog shop turned café at 3637 Taylor Road in Loomis—offers healthy bites and shakes, specialty coffee, beer, hard seltzers, and live music. Currently in their soft opening phase, patrons can expect longer hours, a gift shop, and the full menu to launch on September 24. For updates, follow them on Instagram @smithville.company

Mimosa House (mimosahouseca.com) is opening a second location in Folsom this fall. Filling a 3,200-square-foot space at 1002 Riley Street, the local chain—with existing locales across the region—is known for serving creative, hearty breakfast, brunch, and lunch fare, alongside a lengthy list of bubbly-centric libations.

The Bare Bohemian (thebarebohemian.glossgenius.com), which offers beauty services like non-invasive lash lifts, natural-looking spray tans, and hypoallergenic waxing, is opening soon at 3332 Heights Drive, Suite 220, in Cameron Park. Owner Karli Cooper, an esthetician with over 10 years of experience, is currently accepting appointments.

Popular wine bar, Citizen Vine Folsom (citizenvinefolsom.com), is opening a sister locale, The Vine (atthevine.wine), in El Dorado Hills at 3907 Park Drive, Suite 110. Scheduled to open this month, expect tapas, wine (and wine cocktails!), draft beer, mocktails, weekend brunch, and occasional live music. Early next year, the Folsom location will also be known as The Vine.

Twin Rocks Estate Winery (trwinery.com)—a sustainable vineyard sited at 6635 Cavitt Stallman Road in Granite Bay that produces high-quality olive oils, honey, and wines with complex, intense flavors—is constructing a state-of-the-art production and tasting facility. Expected to open this fall, it will feature caves for barrel storage and wine dinners, along with luxurious indoor and patio tasting areas where guests can relax and take in the sprawling views.

CycleBar Folsom (cyclebar.com/location/folsom), the world’s largest premium indoor cycling brand that provides a fun, inspiring, low-impact, high-intensity experience for riders of all fitness levels, is opening September 22 at 360 Palladio Parkway. Riders will enjoy diverse classes led by certified instructors and premium amenities, including complimentary shoe rentals and towels.
