First job: Cleaning out stalls and exercising horses at an Arabian horse ranch in Loomis. Still one of my top three jobs of all time!

Favorite food: Burritos.

Last big purchase: A miniature Australian shepherd. A “big” purchase because of the commitment in raising such a little maniac!

When not working, you can be found: Taking part in backyard dance parties with my husband and little kids. We’re indoctrinating them in the music of our ’90s youth.

You love living here, because: It’s such a friendly, Midwestern-like area but also uniquely Californian, diverse, and soulful. From Joan Didion to Lady Bird, Wayne Thiebaud, and Colin Hanks’ Tower Records documentary (All Things Must Pass), the beautiful mix of the place has slowly gotten its artistic due.
