Q&A with Local Companies: Royce Timoshevick at Think Big Little People

Folsom, 916-952-4530, thinkbiglittlepeople.com, Facebook: @thinkbiglittlepeople, Instagram: @thinkbiglittlepeople

Services or products you offer: Think Big Little People is a thoughtfully designed, organic, small-batch line of children's clothing borne of the idea that “little people” are naturally “big thinkers.” To design clothes that kids love, they must be comfortable and able to stand up to the rigors of childhood.

What you enjoy most about your profession: I’ve always enjoyed working with children and love that I can use my creativity to design pieces kids love to wear.

Fun fact about your company: Think Big Little People came from something my middle child said when she was little. I asked her what the biggest thing she could think of was and she said, "love."

First job: My first (and one of my favorite) jobs was being a volunteer summer camp counselor at the El Dorado Hills Community Services District.

Favorite food: Anything from Karen's Bakery (though I might tell you her apple walnut muffin is my absolute favorite!).

Last big purchase: As a family, we've really been conscience of living a more eco-friendly lifestyle. For us, that means consuming less, so we haven't made any large purchases for quite some time.

When not working, you can be found: At the river or exploring any of the beautiful, quaint, and unique downtowns Northern California has to offer.

You love living here, because: Everything I love is close by: family, friends, nature, and history. Plus, I'm a California native and can't think of a better place in the state to raise my family.
