What you enjoy most about your profession: Creating new menus and recipes that kids can prepare and enjoy! I love receiving photos and messages from parents and their children saying how much fun they’re having while learning lifelong cooking skills and kitchen safety.

Fun fact about your company: I started it 14 years ago with eight students; pre-pandemic, I was teaching over 220 kids per week at local elementary schools, community service districts, and via private classes.

First job: Secretary to the chief of staff at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Favorite food: I like all food but would probably pick Italian as my favorite.

Last big purchase: New flooring for my house.

When not working, you can be found: Gardening and working on my property, cooking with my husband and daughters, or spending time with my large extended family.

You love living here, because: It’s such a wonderful, kind community. I love that our schools offer after-school enrichment programs and that there’s an abundance of highly rated restaurants, beautiful hiking trails, and scenery. Plus, we’re close to one of my favorite places: Lake Tahoe.
