Bonnie Bernstein has been the owner of Little Folks University for 15 years. Her business was built by an amazing woman with the support of her incredible husband. Little Folks University is especially dear to her heart having worked in childcare for three decades. While youth are our future, Bonnie believes the educators are the symbol of our community's true strength. LFU is proud of its youth sponsorships in local sports as well as Folsom's Eggstravaganza each Easter. Folsom Zoo, Police, Firefighters and multiple other organizations are yearly recipients of their fundraisers as well. Empowering a community empowers its residents and shapes its future.

The staff at LFU has been carefully chosen and come from many walks of life. Some are on the road to become psychologists, public school teachers and nurses. Bonnie believes having a place that accepts varying personalities with countless strengths enables them to empower one another and continuously grow. Yearly work retreats focus on team building combining research, fun, and even the occasional unknown to create an environment where they are constantly growing, improving, becoming the best version of themselves.

A person with true strength never uses what they have been through as an excuse, but a drive to be better. LFU is a place for women to follow and learn their own strengths, adjust when necessary, and grow to be the best educators they can be. A strong team lifts each other to heights that once seemed unattainable, and the group of women at LFU all strive daily towards excellence. Every woman deserves to find a safe place to grow and be their best.

"Every woman's success should be an inspiration to another. We're strongest when we cheer each other on."—Serena Williams
