The Woodcreek High School Lady Timberwolves took on the Lodi Flames while also raising money and awareness to help find a cure for type 1 diabetes—a cause that’s near and dear to the team, as one of their players, Eden Perry, deals with the disease. Alongside help from the school’s booster program, and via raffles, silent auctions, and donations, funds were donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
