Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you? 

I feel I was born to do hair. My mother always had her own beauty salon, and my dolls always got crazy haircuts and rollers; 34 years later, I’ve progressed immensely. Hair creativity is my passion.   

Why is your staff the best in the business?

We have an amazing crew—from Dawn Marie (our facial and skin care specialist) to Becky (our nail tech) and Melanie, our masseuse. We are a great team.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

My mother. Her strength—not only in her business career, but the way she has found the ability to overcome adversities in her life and come through smiling with a positive attitude—is inspiring.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

I spend time with my sisters and vent. 

What’s your hidden talent? 

I pride myself on my abilities to enhance hair coloring.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Pizza Bene.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

Apple Hill.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

Oprah Winfrey. She’s an amazing lady full of inspiration for positive mental and physical growth.

 What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

El Dorado County Fair.

 What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Violets Are Blue.

When both my clients and I feel completely satisfied with the way I make them feel—from the moment they enter to the time they exit my salon.
