Placerville Recreation and Parks Swim Lessons Beginning Soon

May 19, 2015 01:50PM ● By Amanda Anderson
Every year, the City of Placerville’s Recreation and Parks Division goes through an incredible change that transforms young students into tadpoles, ducks, alligators, seals, dolphins, seahorses and sharks. With this cacophony of aquatic life learning to swim, it’s not surprising that summers in Placerville are fun-filled and sun-soaked.

What better way to start your summer than by signing your little one up for swim lessons? May 30 is opening day for the Placerville Aquatics Center; classes fill fast, so register soon. For swimmers who enjoy an open pool, public swim times are available as well.

Excited to come to the pool every day? Get a season pass or family pass, sign up for a water exercise class, or check out the junior lifeguard class. Pool party rentals (during public swim times) and facility rentals (during weekends) are also available. Make a splash!
