Take Note Troupe is proud to bring you Willy Wonka JR. — inspired by Roald Dahl’s book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The musical follows the imaginative candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. As we follow the five ticket-winning children, we learn the importance of honesty, humility, and other good manners. We learn the importance of Letting Go and Playing and creativity as we embrace our inner child in the candy factory that is full of wonder and magic. Come along for a scrumdiddilyumptious time and learn how hard work pays off and the value of Looking Outward and being unselfish.
