Every year Arts and Culture El Dorado presents the Normadene Carpenter Award, which recognizes extraordinary commitment to culture and creativity in our county. This year we are honoring Bill Roby and his commitment to the El Dorado County community.

The annual honor recognizes special achievements and extraordinary contributions to the community, and proceeds from the event support the programs and services of Arts and Culture El Dorado. Patron gifts and ticket sales from the previous event will be honored for the rescheduled date.

The reception and award program will be held at David Girard Vineyards’ Viticulture Galleria on Tuesday, October 18, from 6 – 8 p.m., and will be catered by Table Nectar, whose fresh, healthy, and imaginative cuisine complements its commitment to supporting sustainable agriculture and local farmers and businesses. Folsom Lake Symphony String Quartet will perform music by Beethoven and Handel.
