Ami Stroud, ARC volunteer and hike enthusiast will lead this easy 1-mile shaded loop trail leading your group to the river for a picnic to watch people in rafts, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards float by. Look for a rock that looks like a mushroom, a Ponderosa Pine too big to put your arms around, the smooth cool trunk of a majestic Madrone tree, and remnants from gold miners. This BLM trail was built in memory of a former Conservation Ranger who loved the outdoors and was stricken with MS at age 35. The trail is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
