Isleton Event: Walking the Delta Town of Isleton
- START LOCATION: Isleton Public Library, 412 Union St, Isleton CA 95641
- START TIME: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon
- FINISH TIME: Everyone must be off the trails by 3:00 p.m.
- DESCRIPTION: Isleton was once called the Paris of the Delta and was founded in 1874. Th Sacramento Walking Sticks Club invites you to take a drive on the river road in the delta to find and explore Isleton on a fall day in 2019. Learn its history by seeing its sites and then dining at one of its many different eating establishments. You might even want to bring your RV to camp or spend the night in a hotel to extend your time on the Sacramento delta. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun, including the family dog.
- MISCELLANEOUS: Routes are mostly on paved or hard packed gravel Restrooms are near the start and along the routes. Water is available at Start/Finish and will be provided for everyone to take with them. Dogs on leash with cleanup will love the outing. Strollers and wheelchairs should be OK.
