Learn to Create Cyanotype Art Prints!! Adult Programs Sat, June 29 / 11:00 am - 1:30 pm Printmaking with Cyanotype Join us for a Cyanotype Workshop with Brooklyn artist/maker Padmaja Max. Cyanotype is a fun, exciting and simple way to make dramatic photographic art prints developed in the sun! In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to mix, paint, design and expose, to create beautiful blue prints. Do bring with you a piece of photo frame glass (any size will do) to pin down and flatten the objects to expose, which results in giving you sharpest images. Otherwise all materials will be provided and you’ll leave with your own Cyanotype or two! All ages about 18 welcome! No experience necessary. All materials provided, but you might want to bring a piece of photo frame glass (any size), some examples will be provided but you are welcome to bring any of your own favorite fabrics and/or other items to make prints with e.g. leaves, found objects, feathers, lace (flat things that can be squashed under glass).
