44th Annual Sacred Heart Holiday Home Tour in East Sacramento

FABULOUS FORTIES HOLIDAY EVENT RETURNS DECEMBER 1 - 3, 2017

One of Northern California's most loved walking holiday home tours returns this December, with six elegantly decorated homes in East Sacramento's historic Fabulous Forties neighborhood. For 44 years this popular tour has grown to include over 5,000 patrons. The homes showcase elaborate renovation while preserving historic design, custom interior decoration, and creative holiday décor. Homes on the tour this year range from a stately home on 42nd Street designed for the original owner to resemble a train station to a beautifully remodeled California Cottage. And to pay homage to Ron Cunningham and his 30 years of artistic excellence he provided the Sacramento Ballet and the Sacramento Nutcracker, we will have one home exclusively themed after the Nutcracker. The tour will take place in East Sacramento Fabulous Forties neighborhood, approximately 30 blocks east of the state Capitol. The tour includes a holiday Boutique and Café located at Sacred Heart Parish School at 836 39th Street between J and H Streets. Days and times are: Friday, December 1 from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday, December 2 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday, December 3 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Talented designers will include: Kerrie Kelly Design Lab, Design Shop Interiors, Simplify Interiors, Elizabeth Lake Design, Katrina Stumbos Interior Design, and Aimee Hernandez Designs. Tour tickets are $30 in advance and $35 after November 30th. Organizers predict another sellout this year and suggest advance purchases when possible.
