What you enjoy most about your profession: Getting to share our passion for the culinary experience with guests, no matter how simple or extravagant of a menu has been requested.

You started your business, because: After the birth of our second child, we wanted to be home more with family but couldn’t stay away from the culinary world. We’re hoping to expand with a food truck, which will be operated by our chef Haley—whom we couldn’t have started this dream without, thanks to her creativity, skills, and reliability.

Customer service is: Always our top priority. Without our customers, Bolen’s Provisions would still just be a dream in our head.

Most memorable experience as an entrepreneur: Our first major event, an in-home birthday celebration for a large group. The hosts were phenomenal and hilarious; we had just as much fun as they did!

Favorite food: Anything we don’t have to cook.

Favorite local restaurant: Milestone. It’s almost always our go-to spot!

Favorite small business: Kings Meats and Winterhill Olive Oil, for both personal and business use.

When not working, you can be found: Relaxing with family, hanging out with our livestock, or having a nice dinner out.

You love living here, because: The mountains are the only place that truly feel like home.
