There’s a new Club in town! Visionary and Lady Boss, Jennifer Teie, opened The Green Room Social Club almost a year ago this May.  Jennifer has been a successful businesswoman and fixture in El Dorado County almost her entire life; and with her vast experience and expertise in real estate, construction, and event production, Teie believes Placerville is ready for a local live entertainment venue.

She knows what foothill locals know: You will drive hours to Lake Tahoe or the San Francisco Bay Area for a quality live music experience. “It's been a long time coming to have high quality live music, arts, and entertainment in our Downtown District.”

Teie admits it has been difficult starting up and staying afloat amidst the many challenges facing small businesses today and recently partnered with the El Dorado Arts Council. The Arts Incubator program oversees and distributes tax deductible donations in support of The Green Room Artist Funds objectives, producing quality live entertainment in El Dorado County. “We hope the community will recognize what sets us apart and support our efforts so that we can stick around,” says Jennifer, one of El Dorado County’s fearless Women in Business.
