If you’re looking for authentic Middle Eastern food, I've found the place! Shawarma Stackz in Roseville offers fresh, house-made, legit Middle Eastern dishes. Everything is made from scratch: Meat stacks, falafel, pita bread—everything. What’s more, they have very generous serving sizes. I got a Chicken Pita Sandwich and ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. But the menu was so inviting I couldn’t help myself and did enjoy some other tasty items with it. Let me tell you about my pita first. You get to choose your protein (steak shawarma, chicken shawarma, or falafel), then choose how you want it: In a pita, rice bowl, or salad. I love pita, so that’s the route I went. You then pick some goodies to go alongside your protein. I chose lettuce, parsley mix, cucumber, and fries. Yes, fries! I’m so glad I added them. They have a list of house-made sauces you can mix in as well, and I went with the cucumber yogurt sauce, which was similar to a tzatziki sauce and oh-so-good. I also had to try the Halloumi Cheese Stix with pita (yay, more pita!), fig jam, and cucumber yogurt sauce. They were like mozzarella sticks but way better. And, to sweeten the meal, you’ll have to get the Cinnamon Pita Chips for dessert. Just because. I will be going back for those. Cuz, pita!
