New Businesses on the Block — December 2021

F45 Training—a global fitness community specializing in innovative, high-intensity workouts that are fast, fun, and results-driven—is opening a new location at 2310 Pleasant Grove Boulevard. F45 West Park Roseville (f45training.com/westparkroseville) will start serving all fitness levels beginning January 2022.

South Fork Grille—a casual, hip eatery operated by the same owners as Sienna Restaurant and Land Ocean New American Grill—is scheduled to open early next summer in the El Dorado Hills Town Center (edhtowncenter.com). The 5,400-square-foot space will be given a complete overhaul and serve playful comfort food favorites, plus plenty of healthy options and creative cocktails.

Flock Pizza

 

Flock Pizza (flockpizza.com)—a neighborhood eatery by acclaimed chef Jordan Davis—is coming soon to 185 Placerville Road in Folsom. Serving a full menu featuring artisan pizzas (whose dough is crafted using all organic flour and then cold-fermented for three days), salads, meatballs, and other entrées, their meals are meant to be shared and enjoyed as a family in a casual, come-as-you-are atmosphere.

Rocklin recently welcomed a new Chinese restaurant to 2164 Sunset Boulevard, Suite 200. Joy House (joyhouserocklin.com)—whose chef hails from the Bay Area—prides itself on using high-quality ingredients in both familiar favorites (sweet & sour pork, tangerine chicken, braised eggplant in garlic sauce, etc.) and more authentic offerings.

Rose Café & Bagel

 

Rose Café & Bagel (rosecafeandbagel.com)—a community gathering place that serves specialty espresso drinks using locally roasted beans from Pachamama, 100% organic bagels and breads (made daily in-house), and other sweet treats—recently opened at 4070 Baseline Road in Roseville.

Quarry Ponds Town Center in Granite Bay welcomed a new breakfast and lunch locale. Oak Leaf Café (oakleaf.cafe)—sited at 5540 Douglas Boulevard, Suite 110—boasts two covered patios and serves homestyle American meals, like omelets, burgers, six varieties of avocado toast, and more. 

A new restaurant is coming to 400 Vernon Street in Roseville. The Trax Taproom & Kitchen will serve a bevy of craft beers, in addition to simple food like burgers, tacos, and sandwiches. Follow them on Instagram (@thetraxroseville) for grand opening updates. 

Vampire Penguin

 

Palladio at Broadstone (gopalladio.com) is welcoming three new tenants to its outdoor retail center: Vampire Penguin (vampirepenguin.com), which serves shaved snow in a range of fun flavors with tons of toppings; Devil & Angel (devilnangel.com), a dessert shop specializing in handcrafted soft serve, milk teas, bubble smoothies, boba ice cream, and more; and children’s fitness center My Gym (mygym.com). All the businesses are scheduled to open early next year.

Express Mobile Repair (expmobilerepair.com), a locally owned shop that services phones, computers, iPads, tablets, smart watches, etc. and assists with water damage and data recovery, has expanded to Rocklin (5050 Rocklin Road, Suite A-4). Their existing location is at 25004 Blue Ravine Road, Suite 111, in Folsom.

Vault Salon

 

Vault Salon (thevaultsalon.com), which offers custom color, premium cuts and styles, special occasion makeup, luxury extensions, and more, is expanding to 953 Pleasant Grove Boulevard in Roseville. The salon has an existing location at 6661 Stanford Ranch Road, Suite L, in Rocklin.

Batia Vineyards (batiavineyards.com), an award-winning boutique winery whose grapes are grown in El Dorado County, is relocating their tasting room at the Old Sugar Mill to 459 Main Street in Placerville.
