Introducing: Michael Krick in El Dorado Hills

KrickFit

4810 Golden Foothill Parkway, Suite 2, El Dorado Hills, 415-707-9912, krickfit.com, @krickfit

Services or products you offer: Elite personal training, holistic lifestyle coaching, small group training, and online programs.

What you enjoy most about your profession: As a young adult, I had a dream that I would be able to change the world. I carried that dream into adulthood and now find myself excited to get up each and every day. I have the privilege of being able to change client’s lives in a concrete way, because I’m able to accurately measure their progress. There’s no greater joy than knowing I’ve helped an individual live a richer, healthier, and more rewarding life—whether that be adding years to their lifespan, helping them keep up with their grandchildren, or finishing a race. Their dreams become my reality and helping people reach their goals is incredibly rewarding.

Fun fact about your company: KrickFit started as a mobile personal training business. I would drive to client’s homes or meet them outside in a park.

First job: My first job was as a server. I believe everyone should hold a job in the restaurant or service industry at some point in their life—it teaches grit.

Favorite food: I'm not a picky guy, but we eat very clean in our house. As a special treat, it would have to be pizza or sushi.

Last big purchase: A few months ago, my wife and I traded in our minivan for a Toyota 4Runner. We needed a four-wheel drive vehical and plan on taking advantage of our proximity to the mountains.

When I’m not working, you can find me: At home. As I've gotten older, I've become a homebody. I love doing simple projects around the house and spending time with my wife and young children. When not at home, you'll find me outdoors—hiking, snowboarding, boating, or biking. We’re also blessed with an incredible network of friends and spend as much time with them as possible.

I love living here, because: I can breathe clearly. I’m a mountain man at heart and living here recharges me.
