Q: How do you determine the best size bed for your pet?

A: Make sure you know the measurements of the bed you’re interested in and compare them to something you can easily measure against in your house. Sometimes it’s difficult to purely imagine how big something is by measuring, say a couch cushion, so comparing those to the bed will you give a better idea of its size. Measuring the space your dog uses when they sleep will give you a good idea as to how much room they need, too.

Q: How often should you practice while learning a new instrument?

A: We suggest a minimum of 15 minutes (or more) each day to yield better results in instrument development. For students who are in school, we suggest saving math homework for last and practicing the instrument first, since the same parts of the brain are being stimulated during math and music. Every new student goes through a honeymoon phase in which they’re fascinated with their new instrument. As the student develops and learns new and more difficult material, however, everything becomes more challenging. This is where the discipline of practicing every day (Monday-Friday) helps students grow on a consistent basis.
