Roseville Parks and Recreation: Merry & Bright

The Christmas tree is lit, and we’re eagerly awaiting Santa’s return to town on December 4-13. If you want to see when the man in red and his elves are visiting a neighborhood near you, check the Neighborhood Santa website. Pro tip: Search for your address and zoom in to see the approximate times along the route.

Looking for affordable ways to keep the kids and holiday visitors busy this month? The Roseville Utility Exploration Center is hosting a Home for the Holidays exhibit where you can gain helpful hints on how to ease the holiday stress on you and your home this season.

The Maidu Museum & Historic Site has extended hours following the Christmas holiday; be sure to stop by between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on December 26-29 to check out this historical and cultural gem in Maidu Regional Park.

There are also extended hours for recreational swim at Mike Shellito Indoor Pool and the climbing wall at the Roseville Sports Center over winter break. Visit the website for details.

Give your noble fir a proper farewell by cutting it into smaller sections and placing it in your green waste container; alternatively, find a tree drop-off location near you or support our local Boy Scouts and have them pick it up for you.
