Folsom Glow 

Head to Folsom’s Historic District at 7:45 p.m. for this family-friendly, 2.5-mile walk that includes a Silly String battle, live music and a DJ, whipped cream pie-eating contest, and selfie stations. All registered participants receive a custom-designed medal to commemorate the event. Pumpkin Plunge 

Take part in some spooktacular family fun from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Folsom Aquatic Center. Activities include trunk-or-treat, a floating pumpkin patch, and craft stations for pumpkin decorating. Admission is $10 per person. 916-461-6640

L’Etape California Bike Ride and Expo

The City of Folsom and Visit Folsom are proud to host L’Etape California, a cycling event with scenic, challenging courses comparable to an Alps mountain stage of the Tour de France. Enjoy a Tour de France museum and free Lifestyle Expo on Saturday at the Palladio at Broadstone. The L’Etape bike rides take place on Sunday with 60- and 90-mile route options that start and finish in Folsom. letapecalifornia.com

Halloween Costume Party

Golden-agers (55+) are invited to come to the Folsom Senior Center at 11:30 a.m. for live musical entertainment by Four 4 Fun, light refreshments, and a raffle. Partygoers are encouraged to come in costume. 916-461-6601 

Arts and Humanities Month 

Join in this month’s celebration of the arts by signing up for a dance class or visiting the Gallery at 48 Natoma, featuring the exhibit The Secret Language of Dreams. Other celebratory events include dance performances, concerts, art demonstrations, museum exhibits, and festivals. 

“Folsom Focus” Photography Contest

Photographers of all ages are encouraged to enter their pictures featuring the faces and places of Folsom; entries are accepted from October 15-26. folsomarts.org
