Ask the Expert: June 2018 Roseville, Rocklin, and Granite Bay

Not only is fried rice a foundation for many recipes, but it’s also a great way to improve your wok or frying pan technique while utilizing leftover rice and items in your fridge. The process is simple: First, heat a pan (or wok) to medium heat. Next, add oil and scramble eggs, then add prepared rice and green onions. Season with salt, sugar, white pepper, and lite soy sauce. Make sure to keep everything rotating in the wok, add vegetables (of your choosing), and finish with a small drizzle of sesame oil. Lastly, garnish with bean sprouts and enjoy!
