This 10th annual program—presented by the Arts Council of Placer County—brought high school students from across the region to the stage for a competitive performance that combined the spoken word and theater. Arianna Aponte, a senior from Placer High School, emerged as the champion, and Kate Riccardelli, a junior from Placer High School, was the runner-up.
