Beauty and Balance    
March 11-12  //  Westfield Galleria at Roseville


This two-day event, held in partnership with Beautycon, included engaging workout classes, live makeup tutorials, health and wellness guides and access to top beauty influencers.

Ceremony Honoring the South Placer Fire Department    
March 6  //  Chabad House Jewish Community Center, Granite Bay


On February 25 at approximately 4 a.m., a fire broke out at the community synagogue at the Chabad House Jewish Community Center. The South Placer Fire Department (SPFD) was notified via the smoke alarm, responded immediately and extinguished the fire. As a “thank you” to SPFD for saving the Torah scrolls and to salute the heroic and dedicated work of the firefighters, a ceremony was held in their honor. KFB Public Affairs’ Anniversary Party

In honor of five successful years in business, KFB Public Affairs— a comprehensive firm located in Downtown Roseville that helps clients strategically position their organization, project, business and even themselves in front of key audiences—hosted a birthday party. Guests enjoyed coffee, fruit and pastries, while networking and visiting with the KFB Public Affairs team.

Love Our City Serve Day    
March 11  //  Destiny Community Center


Approximately 375 volunteers came together to assist struggling individuals and families, Title I schools and local nonprofits in Rocklin, Roseville and Lincoln with various projects and needs. “Serve Days” are held throughout the year, including one this month on May 6. Aloha Bunco Night   
February 18  //  Placer Buddhist Church, Loomis


Proceeds from this third annual fund-raiser, hosted by Soroptimist International of South Placer, went toward improving the lives of women and girls through programs that lead to social and economic empowerment. In addition to playing bunco, attendees enjoyed food, beverages and a raffle.

Valentine’s Extravaganza   
February 10  //  Catta Verdera Country Club, Lincoln


Attendees danced to music by the Slacks Cat Band, dined, and participated in live and silent auctions at this fund-raiser for the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln Foothills. Proceeds will support projects benefitting Lincoln children.
