Christmas Craft and Art Faire
November 26-27  //  Gold Country Fairgrounds, Auburn 


Over 100 regional artisans showcased gift ideas for all tastes and budgets at this annual faire that also included music, door prizes, photos with Santa, an assortment of food and beverages, and more. The “Paris Photo Boutique” allowed guests to commemorate the occasion in front of an 8’x16’ mural created by artist Serge Pavloski. Event proceeds were donated to local charities in both Placer and Nevada Counties.

Tommy Apostolos Fund’s Holiday Shopping Spree
December 3  //  Kohl’s, Roseville 


At this annual event, 361 low-income students were each paired with two volunteers who escorted them through Kohl’s as they shopped for warm clothes, shoes and other essentials. The event was hosted by the Tommy Apostolos Fund, which raises funds throughout the year to purchase new clothing for children in need.

Dinner with Santa Cow
December 21  //  Chick-fil-A, Roseville


Approximately 80 families attended Chick-fil-A for complimentary face painting, balloon art, cookie decorating and a Christmas ornament craft-making station, while enjoying a delicious dinner and taking photos with Santa Cow.

Holidays in the Hills

This annual event brought vino lovers together for tastings at 20 area wineries—many of which had food trucks, music and holiday specials—and doubled as a toy drive for Toys For Tots.

Holiday Open House
December 7  //  Placer SPCA, Roseville 


Animal lovers got into the holiday spirit at this annual fund-raiser for the Placer SPCA, thanks to festive drinks and food, baked goods, contests, raffle prizes and more. Attendees were also able to meet adoptable animals and tour the facility.
