The Rocklin Educational Excellence Foundation’s inaugural Starlight Soiree raised funds for the Rocklin Unified School District and featured a multi-course, four-star, farm-to-fork dinner prepared by award-winning Chef Erick Johnson of The Chef’s Table and was attended by parents, supporters and top educational leaders from the region.

Cowpoke Fall Gathering
November 10-13 // 3270 Taylor Road, Loomis
Cowboy poetry, music and storytelling entertained an audience of cowboys, cowgirls and folklore enthusiasts at this year’s annual gathering, which benefited local charities—including Ride to Walk, South Placer Heritage Foundation and Wellness Within—and reinforced the “cowboy way” at the heart of Western traditions.

Election Party
November 8 // Sun City Lincoln Hills
Supporters joined Peter Gilbert at Sun City on election night to watch local, county and national results. Three Lincoln City Council seats opened last November as terms ended for Spencer Short, Paul Joiner and Peter Gilbert. Final results returned Paul Joiner with 25.73 percent (9,249) and Peter Gilbert with 18.21 percent (6,546); Dan Karleskint won the third seat with 17.01 percent (6,115).
