Catch All: Casablanca in the Hills Presents Moroccan Nights

Oct 26, 2016 02:17PM ● By David Norby

Child Advocates of El Dorado County’s biggest annual fund-raiser, Casablanca in the Hills Presents Moroccan Nights, has grown each year since its debut in 2007, and CASA isn’t looking anywhere but up for the 2016 event—set to take place at Lakehills Covenant Church in El Dorado Hills from 6-11 p.m. on November 12. Benefiting the organization and its mission to “recruit, train and support caring volunteer advocates for abused, neglected and at-risk children throughout El Dorado County,” it’s hard to find a reason not to attend the event—especially when the evening will include entertainment, live music, wine and beer, a sit-down dinner and auctions (both silent and live). CASA’s Development Manager Vicki Helwig loves seeing the communal support for CASA’s efforts on such a large scale; in fact, her favorite part isn’t the dinner, drinks or fantastic prizes, but “seeing the people in the community who want to support such a great organization—and help the abused and neglected children of El Dorado County—come together.” Be a part of something bigger by enjoying a beautiful, classy evening with friends and family! Tickets are $95 per person or $700 for a table of eight.
