Catch All: High Hand Nursery’s Victorian Holiday Faire

Oct 26, 2016 02:18PM ● By David Norby

There’s no better way to kick off the holiday season than with two days of festivities at High Hand Nursery’s Victorian Holiday Faire, a celebration with a steampunk edge! The fun goes from November 26 (10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.) to November 27 (10 a.m. 4 p.m.) and is held in conjunction with the nursery’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Activities include a cappella carols by The Merrie Olde Christmas Carolers, a gingerbread cookie decorating station, and about 20 artists—many dressed in Victorian or steampunk garb—selling their wares in the Historic Fruit Shed. “There is no better gift to give than art made by skilled craftsmen and artists living in your local community,” says High Hand Art Gallery Marketing Director Vincent DiLeo. “The event benefits the community at large by providing a free Christmas event during the holiday season with entertainment and fun for all ages,” DiLeo continues. “We hope it sets the mood for everyone to have a wonderful, happy Christmas season.”
