In light of redesigning public appearance, Hot Pasta and Cool Jazz—taking place October 21 from 6-9 p.m. at Cielo Estate Winery—is the El Dorado Community Vision Coalition’s latest appeal to El Dorado residents. Introducing this new signature event sets a stage for the Coalition to “celebrate [their] fresh new brand,” according to Jennifer Garcia, program and resource development assistant. The goal of the Coalition’s array of fund-raisers is “to raise awareness about youth substance abuse and raise funds to help support prevention programs,” Garcia says. Attendees at the family-friendly event will enjoy a hot pasta dinner, courtesy of a local Italian restaurant, live music from Grammy-nominated jazz singer Mariea Antionette and live and silent auctions.
