With friendly service, TVs adorning the bar, and a menu brimming with American favorites—from burgers and fries to brews—it’s bound to become a neighborhood favorite in no time. On my last visit, I ordered the Bacon Me Love You—a must-try for all the bacon, and burger, lovers out there. Layered with applewood smoked bacon, battered onion rings, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce and topped with a pickle, it was love at first bite. The meat itself was seasoned and cooked to perfection, while the bun was buttery and soft; paired with the flavorful fixins’, it was a burger for the books. My side of Truffle Fries—coated with Parmesan cheese and served with a yummy garlic aioli—was a perfect pairing. Be sure to save room for dessert, too—Buck & Sadie’s serves something called a Crownie that features a warm chocolate brownie crowned with a scoop of vanilla custard ice cream and toppings of your choice, from chocolate chips to Reese’s Pieces.
