2nd Annual Banana Cream Pie Competition and Celebration

The Fat Family Restaurant Group is pleased to announce their 2nd Annual Banana Cream Pie competition! With their arms tied behind their backs, contestants will eat as much Banana Cream Pie as they can within a two minute timeframe. The winner will be determined based on which contestant eats the most. The money raised for this event will go to Food Literacy Center, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching low-income elementary children cooking and nutrition to improve our health, environment and economy. Additionally, from the day of the event through Sunday, March 6, $1 from every Banana Cream Pie sale will go directly to the nonprofit.

What: 
Banana cream pie eating competition to celebrate National Banana Cream Pie Day. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample Fat’s famous pie, enjoy food specials, as well as watch local Sacramento personalities vie for the top spot.

When: 
Wednesday, March 2, 2016; 6pm - 8pm

Metered street parking is available, as well as the Old Sacramento Garage, on I Street between 3rd and 2nd Streets.

Fat Family Restaurant Group in conjunction with emcee Mike “Mike-on the-Mic” Osborn, Sacramento River Cats and judges Lina Fat, Fat Family of Restaurants and Amber Stott, Food Literacy Center.
