Homes for the Holidays Tour 
December 5-6 / El Dorado County
Benefiting the Assistance League of Sierra Foothills, which has been helping El Dorado County residents in need achieve a better quality of life since 2008, this sixth annual two-day tour allowed attendees to peruse amazing homes decked out for the holidays and offered raffle prizes like 100 bottles of local wine and a trip to Monterey.

Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) El Dorado County Snowball Shopping 
December 12 / Target, El Dorado Hills
With the help of generous sponsors and volunteers, 150 local children were able to purchase warm coats, new shoes and other items they would otherwise go without; following the shopping spree, they met Santa and enjoyed a pancake breakfast.

Santa Parade
December 11-13 / Cameron Park
Hosted by the Cameron Park Fire Department, this annual three-day parade—with different routes each evening—featured the fire department escorting Santa through numerous neighborhoods.

Holiday Festival of the Arts
December 13 / Rolling Hills Christian Church, El Dorado Hills
This second annual show, featuring Folsom High School’s award-winning Jazz Band, Jazz Choir and Chamber Orchestra performing holiday favorites, also included visual arts like dancing and painting. Proceeds benefited the Folsom High School Music Boosters.
