KEYBOARD CONVERSATIONS® RETURNS TO THE HARRIS CENTER 

His enthusiasm is contagious...his credentials world-class...his virtuosity astounding! Internationally acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Siegel and his Keyboard Conversations® continue as part of the Harris Center for the Arts’ 2015-2016 season.

Mr. Siegel returns for his second concert of the season presenting Splendor from Silence on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 7:30 pm. Jeffrey Siegel's unique concerts are a joy for both the piano aficionado and novice alike with a brilliantly polished concert-with-commentary format. Captivating remarks precede the virtuoso performances of piano masterpieces and the concert concludes with a lively Q&A. The Los Angeles Times acclaims “Jeffrey Siegel has everything: massive technique, musical sensitivity and character, wide tonal resources, immense reserves of power, and the ability to communicate.”

Tickets for Keyboard Conversations® with Jeffrey Siegel: Splendor from Silence are $29-$39. 

Student tickets are $9 with ID. Splendor from Silence features works written after deafness had engulfed each composer. Jolly, vibrant polkas of Bedřich Smetana; a heartbreaking, anguished nocturne of Gabriel Fauré; and Beethoven's final piano sonata - music of internal struggle and peaceful resignation.
