Five years ago Fidelis Marketing began participating in the Sacramento Food Bank Annual Turkey Drive. The first year, the donation amount reached 200 turkeys. Since that year Fidelis has joined hands with small businesses, vendors, customers, members of the community as well as friends and families to feed close to 4,000 families over the subsequent last five years. Last year with the help of these individuals and businesses over 1,400 families were fed. Donating 1,447 turkeys broke the all-time record in the Sacramento Food Bank last year, beating large corporate groups such as Wells Fargo, Save-Mart, and other local corporations. Each year the donation amount has grown due to more people and local businesses taking part.

 

November 14 is the huge Fun-draising party at Folsom Lake Bowl starting at 12 noon. Over 30 local businesses donate silent auction and raffle prizes for the attendees and FLB donates a percentage of the proceeds towards the turkey drive. 

Enjoy food, drinks and live music all afternoon while supporting a great cause. A truly a great group of locals and businesses make this event happen and would love to push 2,000 turkeys this year.
