Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

The legal field is a second career for me. I attended law school with the intent of practicing estate planning and probate.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

Cleaning horse stalls to support the cost of board for my own horse. Every job should be done to the best of your ability.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I’m a board member and chairperson of the planned giving committee for the Placer SPCA, as well as a member and Oak Grove steward for the American River Parkway Foundation.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Completing law school and passing the bar exam while working full-time.

What’s your hidden talent?

I can fix almost anything around the house, thanks to my dad.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Being able to offer convenient appointment times (evenings and weekends) in clients’ homes or offices (upon request).

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Il Fornaio.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

American River Parkway, Donner Lake and Tahoe.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

Placer SPCA’s Funny Bones.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Bloom Coffee and Tea.
