Activities for children and a live band will highlight St. Augustine Episcopal Church's annual barbeque on Saturday, September 6.  The event begins at 5 p.m. in the churchyard at 1800 Wildcat Blvd., Rocklin.

Kids' activities will include a bounce house and other games, and  there will be face-painting and air-brushed tattoos for all ages.

"We'll have outstanding barrel-cooked chicken with delicious sides, as well as awesome raffle prizes," said Jim Quinney, BBQ chairman.

Dinner starts at 6 p.m., with  beer, wine, and soft drinks available for purchase.  Ticket prices (beverages not included) are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.  Call the church office at 916-435-9552 to order tickets.
