Describe your Business.  Did you find it, or did it find you?

QT Optometry is patient-centered. We work to provide the best quality, comprehensive exams, as well as consultation and service with a smile. My private practice was opened in my hometown, with the intent to promote the education and awareness of eye health and care to my patients and the Folsom community. It was actually something I had been planning for a while, and after working through all of the pre-necessities of a business start-up, we’re finally open!

How are you involved with both the community and your customers?

I’m an active Folsom Chamber of Commerce member; also, we’re highly engaged with patients/customers throughout social media platforms (Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn).

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Earning my doctorate of optometry and opening my own practice.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

The typical male fallback: video games.

What’s your biggest job perk?

The ability to help people see the sharper images of life.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Johnny Rockets and Thai Paradise.

And finally, customer services is...?

The embodiment of our mission statement: “You are the most important patient at our practice. You are not dependent on us, however, we are dependent on you. You are not an interruption to our work, rather, you are the purpose of it. You are not an outsider to our practice, more importantly, you are part of it. We are not doing you a favor by caring for you, respectfully, you are doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to do so.”

Do you know that our editorial is not paid for, nor can it be purchased? In fact, our Introducing and Dine reviews are not paid advertisements. If you’d like your business profiled, please email Megan Wiskus at [email protected]. Once we determine when your business will be featured, we will contact you to schedule a time to come out and take a photograph. Thank you!
