Describe your business.

Olympic Foot and Ankle – Dr. Annalisa Y. Co provides complete care of the foot, ankle and lower leg. I offer an integrative medical practice and adhere to both Eastern and Western medicinal philosophies to achieve lower extremity wellness for all of my patients. I believe I provide patients with a unique experience, compared to the larger practices in the area. I keep my total patient panel small, so patients spend less time in the waiting room and more quality time with me. I have a strong passion for sports and dance medicine, and as a marathon runner, cyclist, yogini and dancer, believe that I relate particularly well to athletes and dancers; I understand when they’re frustrated with injuries and chronic problems and want nothing more than to get back to their
usual, active lifestyle.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of opening Olympic Foot and Ankle – Dr. Annalisa Y. Co. The American health care system is heading toward big-group medicine where high-volume and quick-clinic encounters are the norm. I took a leap of faith, and, with the help of my family and people in the community, opened a solo specialty medical practice. I believe I offer a sound alternative to big-group medicine by giving each patient personal care and tailored treatment based on individual needs.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Leatherby’s Family Creamery—it’s the one place guaranteed to make my family smile.

And finally, customer service is…?

In my profession, I feel I’ve achieved customer service when patients are happy with their
health care outcomes. My goal is for patients to have a positive experience with me. I value their input and want them to know I’ve heard their concerns. I also value their time and recognize that they’re missing work or time with their families to see me.
