Placer ARC recently received a $1,500 CVC Caremark Community Grant, in order to assist nonprofits to provide social recreation opportunities to youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The grant is part of the CVS Caremark’s All Kids Can program.

Roseville’s Blue Line Arts, formerly Roseville Arts/Blue Line Gallery, recently celebrated the re-launch of the nonprofit and the Gallery’s fifth anniversary. Fun fact: The name of Blue Line Arts is attributed to Loomis-based photographer Jim Hirschinger, who noticed the big blue light that emanated from downtown Roseville’s Esquire Building as he made the descent on a flight into Sacramento.
