Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Koko FitClub is a one-of-a-kind new fitness center designed for both men and women who want to get in better shape, but can’t turn their lives upside down to do it. With Koko, there’s no longer the need to spend hours at the gym, no wasting time figuring out what to do, and no struggle to stay motivated. In short, there’s nothing to hold you back from finally getting the results you’ve always wanted. Koko found me through my cousin who’s opening six locations in the Dallas, Texas area. It was such a calling to me after feeling like I was completely missing a part of my life. After working 10 years in the banking industry, it prepared me for what I would be facing. I love the fact that I can help people with their fitness goals.

What life accomplishment are you most proud of?

I’m very proud to have such a wonderful family. I have been married to my husband, Tom, for 27 years, and we have three grown children, a daughter-in-law and a beautiful grandson.  I’m proud that my children have looked upon Tom and myself for guidance throughout the years. It makes me proud that they’ve grown up to be such great individuals.

What’s your biggest job perk?

I get to help people find the best way to work out. I enjoy helping people meet their specific fitness goals; sometimes I get more excited than the client.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Yard House – I love the arrangement of food and their customer service.

And finally, customer service is…?

Critical to any business. I enjoy helping clients decide on a goal for themselves and then work to attain it. Since each person requires different amounts of service, the key to superior customer service is to personally know your client. At Koko FitClub we want the interactions to be an experience; we want our clients to rave about Koko FitClub!
