Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Roseville Dermatology is a full-service practice, specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Since I opened Roseville Dermatology in 2006, my staff has grown to include a physician assistant, esthetic nurse, licensed esthetician and a skin care specialist. To accommodate the growing number of patients, our office relocated to a state-of-the-art facility on Blue Oaks Boulevard in January.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

Every year I perform free, full-body skin cancer screenings through the Skin Cancer Foundation’s “Road to Healthy Skin Tour.” We also host an annual open house event and invite all our friends into the office for an evening of drinks, hors d’oeuvres and conversation.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Our staff thrives on the relationships they develop with patients. This personal connection is one reason why Sutter patients consistently rate us the best dermatology practice in Roseville. We also won second place for “Favorite Dermatologist” in Style Magazine’s 2010 Sixth Annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of opening this practice. It took a huge leap of faith to leave a secure job and start Roseville Dermatology with no prior business experience, but it turned out to be the second best decision of my life (after marrying my wife!).

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

I love to eat at Bravo Pastaria on Eureka Road. I’m a huge fan of “buying local.”

And finally, customer service is…?

Customer service is more than just treating patients; it’s about improving their lives. To have that kind of impact on people, you need to know who they are and where they come from. From the moment a customer enters our office, he or she is not just a number, but instead a friend dropping by for a visit.

Do you know that our editorial is not paid for, nor can it be purchased? In fact, our Introducing and Dine reviews are not paid advertisements. If you’d like your business profiled, please email Wendy Sipple at [email protected]. Once we determine when your business will be featured, we will contact you to schedule a time to come out and take a photograph. Thank you!
