Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

For years my husband and I were working in this industry. We met when I worked as his sales rep. The day our first son was born we made plans to venture out on our own...and Blind Spot was born, too!

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

We stay current with many local organizations. We donate to Habitat for Humanity, are a member of the Merchant Association for Downtown Roseville, and love sponsoring our local Woodcreek Little League.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

We keep it small and do it all. Our personal attention to service and detail – that is what makes our “spot” different.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

My grandmother impacted my life by helping me learn to appreciate people for who they are, and she was the hardest worker I know! Funny, she never had a job, but she was a domestic goddess!

What’s your biggest job perk?

I love changing people’s living environments. The “thank you” cards I receive are great; I really know I improved their lifestyle.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

I am a sushi eater…I love Mikuni. I could eat there four times a week, and used to before I had kids, but now it is a bit less.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

I would meet my husband’s mother. She passed when he was just seven years old. He says such sweet things about what he can remember. I would tell her that I was taking care of her son and grandsons.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Hard question – I admire a lot of businesses. Style Media Group works hard to meet our needs and the staff is the best.

And finally, customer service is…?

Being there for the customer today and tomorrow, and for as long as they may need you.
