What's Happening in Folsom and El Dorado Hills!

Style would like to congratulate Visconti’s Ristorante on their recent ribbon-cutting event to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Visconti’s is located at 2700 E. Bidwell Street, #700.

Celebrating another anniversary are Marshall Crossan and the team at Folsom Chevrolet. They recently celebrated their 18th year serving our local area. Congratulations!

Who says getting a haircut only makes you look good? Hoshall’s Salon and Spa in Folsom has proved not only this, but also how a haircut can help the recent oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. Hoshall’s is participating in a nationwide campaign to collect over 300,000 pounds of hair to recycle and use as boom filler to soak up oil. Cool stuff!

Looking for a good laugh from new talent? Po’Boys Bar and Grill hosts weekly open mic nights for comedians on Mondays in Folsom. See national headliners and up-and-coming comics from 9-11 p.m. If you want to try your hand at stand-up, arrive early to sign up. Po’ Boys is located at 9580 Oak Avenue Parkway in Folsom.

Style congratulates Melanie DeMure of El Dorado Hills, who was crowned Mrs. West Coast International. DeMure will compete for the title of Mrs. International 2010 during the final competition in Chicago, July 13-17. We wish her all the best!

The California Welcome Center El Dorado Hills recently held a grand opening event at the El Dorado Hills Town Center. Opened to the public, the event included live music, appetizers from local restaurants, and wine from El Dorado County!
