Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

I have the ultimate career in the world because I show women how to live their best lives by helping them get healthier and happier. I feel like everything that I have done in my past has led me to right here and right now!

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

We do a lot of “give back” in the community. Mama Bootcamp had its Second Annual Spring Fun Run in March. We also have an annual Spring Clothing Swap, where all the women bring clothes they no longer wear…and get fun and free clothes back that now fit their new bodies!

Why is your staff the best in the business?

My coaches are the heart of Mama Bootcamp! Without them, I could not live my mission statement: To make the world a healthier place, one person at a time! I can’t do that by myself and I am fortunate to work with women who believe this as well.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

It is more of a saying: “Live your life by design, not by default.” I wish more people would realize the power they have to create a life worth living.

What’s your biggest job perk?

There are two: Training outside in this fabulous place we live with the parks, trails and water; and the amazing women who inspire me daily!

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

I love the energy of local races! My favorite this past year was the “Run to Feed the Hungry” on Thanksgiving. It gets you in the spirit of the day and I ran it with my daughter, Bailee, which made it even more special.

And finally, customer service is…?

Under promising and over delivering! Showing my Bootcamp Mamas that I am passionate about helping them truly live healthy and happy. That means answering my phone when they need love and support; and not just Monday through Friday, but weekends too!
