Goings on in the El Dorado County Foothills Area!

Style congratulates Sam Driggers, El Dorado Economic Development coordinator who was recently awarded his Economic Developer Certification. Driggers has contributed to the El Dorado County Economic Department in many ways including securing $300,000 in grant funds to conduct business retention and expansion activities and help initiate the Lake Tahoe Basin Prosperity Plan

A new Web site, parenthelplive.com is a new online resource to give busy parents easy access to local parenting professionals. The interactive forum connects parents with experts, leading psychologists and educators to receive interactive parenting classes and phone therapy sessions. A new restaurant opened up on November 28 in the Town Center in El Dorado Hills. Located next to the Imax Theater, the Americano Grill offers American-BBQ cuisine that serves only 100-percent natural proteins and organic local greens. Monday, January 11, is Cameron Park Community Services District Night at Chili’s in El Dorado Hills. Visit cameronpark.org and print the event flyer; bring it in from 5 to 10 p.m. on January 11, and Chili’s will donate 10 percent of the sales to the Cameron Park Community Services District.
