One step inside our office and you will know that this is the place for your children to receive all their oral health care. Our spectacular new facility was created by one of the designers of the Rainforest Café, Disney and Universal Studios. From beautiful murals, DVD movies, and video games, to safe play structures and a soothing color-changing bubble wall; our new office is a place that children won’t want to leave! Our passion is to make your “little star” feel comfortable coming to the dentist so that we can build a solid foundation for a lifetime of outstanding oral health. Dr. Chester Hsu (pronounced “shoe”), Dr. Maryam Saleh (pronounced “sah-lay”), and the Silver Star team provide a caring and personalized approach to prevention and restorative dental care for children of all ages. Your child will experience a fun and educational dental office and team that offer the best possible oral health care available.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

Each year, since its inception seven years ago, Silver Star Dental has been a host site for the annual “Smiles for Kids” event sponsored by the Sacramento District Dental Society. Free dentistry is provided for hundreds of children each year who have no dental insurance coverage and whose families have limited means. Each year, Dr. Hsu also takes time out of his practice to screen children in Lincoln, and the Sacramento area, for dental disease at schools and community events. In 2007, Dr. Hsu participated in the California Dental Association’s Pediatric Oral Health Access Program (POHAP) where he saw and treated 23 patients over the course of the year at no charge. Dr. Hsu and Dr. Saleh strongly believe in improving access to dental healthcare for all children, and are committed to volunteering their time each year to help achieve that goal.
