The soundtrack to the Jonathan Demme documentary of the same name, Stop Making Sense captures all of the excitement of a live Talking Heads show. They’re the kind of band where EVERY song is your favorite song. If you’ve never seen them live, hearing them is the next best thing, and this album is about as close as you’ll get to being there.

Day and Age, The Killers
You’d be forgiven for thinking that The Killers would struggle to top the raving success of their first album Hot Fuss, but their third album, Day And Age, proves they just get better and better. There’s still the New-Wave throwback sound, but it’s richer; and Brandon Flowers’ vocal range just continues to soar. Current fans won’t be left wanting, and new fans will flock to this exciting, innovative band.
