Did You Know...

…that more and more parents are waiting until after school begins to take their kids “back to school shopping” so they can check out the trends? School starts in early August, or goes year-round when it’s 100 degrees outside, so long sleeved shirts, sweaters and jeans are not quite needed yet, which makes shopping all the more difficult. Parents try to purchase later when the weather cools, but unfortunately the selection and sizes are gone by this time. Savvy parents know that they can pick up sales in summer on lightweight clothing to get their kids through August and September. Buying fall clothes early and putting them aside until the weather is right may seem silly, but it makes the buying decisions easier. When unexpected rain happens you will be ready. It’s best to stick to a couple of basic colors and then build upon those. Layering and accessorizing will be easier and make fewer pieces go further, maximizing your dollars spent.
